Should HR managers announce an employee resignation?

Employee resignation can be contagious, especially if the team members are close and share the same values when it comes to pressure from superiors and struggles to keep up with the increasing workloads. 


 Notifying pertinent employees have at least 3 benefits:

1.Offer internal opportunities to team members interested in taking over the departing member's role and tasks.

2. If the departure is associated with poor management, reassure them that HR is genuinely concerned about their well-being.

3. If the departing employee is considered a contributing employee, take the opportunity to acknowledge and give credit to their work. In that instance, this will end the speculation that the employee is quitting for negative reasons.
