Malaysia is ready to enter a new transition in the 5G technology world. The Malaysian government has allocated 21 billion in funding for this, known as the JENDELA plan. 

  The main government initiative to help Malaysia achieve this objective is to gradually shut down all 3G networks in stages and ensure that all of the country's inhabited areas have at least access to 4G service. 

  Malaysia's mean internet speed has climbed 46% from 72 Mbps in 2017 to 135 Mbps, with a 28% increase in 2021 alone.
