Why are small businesses more vulnerable to cyber-attacks?

Small businesses with less than 100 employees are three (3) times more vulnerable to cyber-attacks, they experienced 350% more social engineering attacks compared to companies with larger sizes. The problem derives from a lack of resources and expertise. SMEs usually don't have or don't hire dedicated cybersecurity experts to keep their systems secure.
